I need an attitude adjustment

Like now.

If you read my last post, today's 4.5 miler wasn't much better.  I still kicked & screamed most of the run. 

I've heard that for a lot of runners it's 99% mental.  If you can just get out of your own head, stop fighting your own demons, you can be successful.  I'm struggling with this.  I admit it.  And I don't know how to get out of my head.  Husbter isn't sure how to help me either.  He's one of the few where it's not quite as much of a mental challenge. 

7 miler on Sunday.  I'm gonna have to have a serious pep talk with myself.

For those of you who run, what do you do to stay out of your head & try to just enjoy the run?
