What now?

It's been nearly 2 weeks since Ramblin' Rose.  That's the triathlon I did, for those of you who aren't my facebook friends.  Those of you who are (and I think most of you are), you saw the updates, the excitement, the PHOTOS.

I had every intention of writing a blog entry about the experience, and I may still.  But there really only remains one question, now that it's over.  What now?!

Someone recently asked me that.  I've pretty much taken the last 2 weeks off, as far as workouts/training go.  I've run a few times, with the C25k class, at the Y, just because.  But what now?

Yes, what now?  Well.  For starters, the Triathlon season is coming to an end for this year.  It pretty much runs from March through October.  While there is a local event (practically in my back yard) and I'd LOVE to do it, as it is slightly longer than the Rose, logistically, it's not really feasible with hubster's schedule.  So, what now?

Now, I keep working out 6 days a week (ok, I get BACK to working out 6 days a week) - 3 days at the Y with weight training or biking or swimming or even Zumba and 3 days a week running with the C25k training.  And I start looking at something a little more challenging for the Spring.

I've only done the one tri, but I'm hooked.  Really?!  Yes, really!  I had a blast and honestly can't wait to do it again.  It was fun and challenging.  And I did it!

Besides, I now have 2 tri stickers on my back window.  I have to prove I deserve them!
