I want to take this blog in a slightly different direction this year. I don't want to just focus on the running & weight loss. While that is a big part of who I am and what I'm doing, it certainly doesn't encompass everything about me. For example, did you know I'm a mom of 3? Well, OK, so you do know THAT?! Do you know that we home school? That I like to sew (when I have time, yes!). That I love crafts & music & reading (my Nook is my newest addiction, along with pinterest)? That I love to cook & hate to clean? Yeah...
That's where you (my friends & family) come in. I need a new title for this blog. I don't want to have to start a brand new one, so the address will still be "a runner in me". But I need/want a new title that is more fitting of my entire life. Here's a few things about me that you may or may not know to help you out:
I have - 3 kids, 1 dog, & a husband and I adore them all (except maybe the dog LOL)
I love to read, cook, bake, sew & spend time with the above.
I am resolving to lead a simpler life. Trying to declutter & dispose of the junk (physical, emotional, tangible, etc).
I love my God.
I am a Civil War Reenactor/part time history buff.
I love all things girly - pink, purple, dolls, dresses, hair bows, tutus, pretty, sappy romance movies & novels, etc. Yes, I AM a girl!

The winner gets... well, I don't really have a tangible prize in mind. The winner will get the knowledge that I liked their idea best & decided to go with it, so the winner will actually get to see his/her idea on this blog every time they visit.
