Sick babies = altered workouts

Should have gone to my C25k class tonight.  It was to be a 30 minutes workout, 9/1 run/walk interval.

Baby Girl has a fever.  It started late Sunday and hasn't been terribly high, but it has made her clingy & fussy.  And she's had a clear runny nose & watery eyes.  I'm fairly sure she's about to cut another tooth (why is teething such a pain, literally?) and she might have a little bit of allergies.  Hubs & I both have had a touch of the itchy, watery eyes.  I didn't think taking her out in the heat, with a fever, was a very good idea.  Thankfully, after a nice long nap, she seems better tonight.  Not as fussy or clingy and I'm sure her fever broke because she woke up drenched in sweat.

Tonight's workout was another bike ride with the trainer.  I kind of like this thing.  It allows me to get a workout in, without worrying about what to do with the kiddos.  I'll get my run in tomorrow morning at the YMCA, along with a short swim.  It felt good to do something.

Workout summary:
35 minutes on the bike trainer = approx. 9 miles

Oh and I can't believe I'm about to put this out there, but I'm starting to really enjoy working out.  It makes me feel better, mentally, and it feels good to actually DO something, other than sit on my hiney.
