Is it really July 1st? Wow!
D sent me a Beginner's Triathlon 11 week training schedule the other day. I sat down last night and starting with race day back dated the entire thing to figure out when I need to get serious about training. Monday, July 11th is the official date. I tweaked the schedule a little to fit in C25k classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays (those days will include some biking and/or swimming on Tuesdays and resting or swimming on Thursdays). Most Sundays will be a true rest day (no workouts) with the exception of race week, as the race is on a Sunday.
Todays' workout summary:
30 minutes on the bike - 8 miles
10 minutes in the pool - 5 laps (been a week or so since I swam & today's swim felt sloppy & slow - I think I was distracted by the two zillion tweeners running around)
